Numerous stories have been told about our treasured gedolim. Less is known about their wives. Who were the incredible women who enabled their husbands to become gedolei and poskei hador who served as the heart of Am Yisrael? Who were these neshei chayil who, despite famine in Eretz Yisrael and destruction in Europe, were able to build strong and enduring Torah homes? And what can today’s women learn from them?

It’s All Hers! contains many little-known gems that speak directly to women: how Rav Elyashiv would help his daughter with her homework, how Rav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach reviewed his daughter’s report card with her, and how the Nesivos Shalom had long conversations with his daughter through letters. Rebbetzin Karelitz helped create tznius guidelines for girls’ schools, and Rebbetzin Wosner set up a box of tichels for women to wear in shul. Rebbetzin Ezrachi was a math teacher, Rebbetzin Esther Finkel a medical askanit. Rather, it is a chronicle of the tremendous love of Torah that burned in the hearts of these great women and made it possible for our gedolim to become the Torah luminaries we all know and cherish.
