The Wheel Feelings series is an excellent tool for starting conversations with preschoolers about their feelings and emotions.

The book features three relatable situations that all children will experience at some point or other in life. Throughout the stories, the characters feel a spectrum of strong emotions that range from happiness to disappointment, fear to relief, joy to sadness, and anger to worry.

At each stage in the story, encourage your young readers to turn the Emotions Wheel to the correct feeling. That way, the character’s face will perfectly express the emotion he or she is feeling.

Wheel Feelings builds verbal and emotional expression skills that help young children cope with challenging feelings in a healthy way.
